Matt debated 2 years at Millard North High School in Omaha Nebraska and after graduating in 2017 debated 1 year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Matt has since coached at Millard North and Lincoln high school. While there he has had students qualify to the Tournament of Champions and NSDA Nationals. Matt has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
